A hardworking addition to many freshwater aquariums, Algae Eaters are popular for helping keep tanks clean by grazing on algae from glass, decorations, and hard surfaces. Active and constantly on the move, they make a great addition to well-maintained community aquariums.

While they enjoy grazing on algae, they should not be relied on as the sole method of algae control and will benefit from a varied diet. Provide plenty of hiding spots and surfaces to explore for a happy, healthy fish.
