Congo Tetra (Phenacogrammus interruptus)

These African tetras display iridescent rainbow hues that shimmer with blues, greens, and purples, especially in males with their flowing fins. Peaceful by nature, Congo Tetras thrive in schools and look their best when kept in spacious, well-planted aquariums with open swimming areas.

Congo Tetras are hardy when provided with stable water quality and make excellent tank mates for other medium to large peaceful species.

⚠️ Please note: Congo Tetras grow larger than most tetras and require plenty of swimming space. Avoid housing with fin-nipping species.
