🌍 Origin: Native to the Amazon River basin (this is a captive-bred albino variety)
🐠 Adult Size: 30–35cm
💧 Water Parameters:
• pH: 6.5–7.5
• Temperature: 24–28°C
• Soft to medium hardness
🍽️ Diet: Carnivore – thrives on quality cichlid pellets, prawns, bloodworms, and the occasional live/frozen treat. They’re messy eaters, so good filtration is a must.
⚔️ Temperament: Semi-aggressive – very territorial, especially during breeding. Best kept alone or with other large cichlids in big tanks.
🏝️ Tank Setup:
• Minimum 250–300L per adult Oscar
• Strong filtration (can be messy)
• Sand or smooth substrate
• Heavy décor not required – they may dig or rearrange the tank
• Oscars are very smart – they recognize their owners and can be trained to hand-feed!

🧬 Fun Fact: The Albino Red Tiger Oscar glows with pale white/yellow tones overlaid with bright orange-red "tiger" stripes — truly a showstopper. Their red tends to get more intense as they mature.
