Silvertip Tetra
Scientific Name: Hasemania nana
The Silvertip Tetra is an active and eye-catching schooling fish known for its golden-bronze colouring and distinctive silver-white tips on its fins. Males often develop stronger, richer colouring, while females tend to have a slightly fuller body.
Silvertip Tetras are energetic and social and are best kept in a school of at least 6, although larger groups are recommended. When kept in good numbers, they display more natural schooling behaviour and create an impressive amount of movement throughout the aquarium.

They readily accept a varied diet of quality flakes, micro pellets, and frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp and daphnia.
A hardy, active, and colourful schooling fish that brings plenty of movement and personality to the community aquarium.
