Recognised by their orange bodies, bold black vertical stripes, and bright fins, Tiger Barbs are fast, energetic schooling fish that bring constant activity to the mid-water of the tank. Their playful but boisterous nature makes them best suited to active community or semi-aggressive setups.

Tiger Barbs are hardy and adaptable but should always be kept in groups to reduce fin-nipping behaviour. When kept in proper numbers with suitable tank mates, they are entertaining and robust aquarium residents.
